Decreased Reality

The exhibition of Lebanon is a landscape of raised hands that carry cellphones showing stills from performances. It reverberates on the global trend of audience members filming and photographing ongoing performances. Reflecting on this practice and on the questions it raises, visitors emailed us pictures they took of performances they attended during PQ2019. We added them to the exhibition, marking a performance migration from local productions to global ones within a country exhibition.
